In addition to web sales, I sell my work through art shows, retail outlets, and personal contacts. In fact, my website contains only a small fraction of my jewelry; all one-of-a-kind pieces, new designs, and lots more are available at my shows.
Below is a list of shows I plan to be at in 2011. If I'm still waiting for an answer, I've noted that with a tentative (TT) mark.

Spring at the Purple House

100 American Craftsmen
Kenan Center, Lockport, NY
Friday, June 3, 6 pm - 9 pm
Saturday, June 4, 10 am - 6 pm
Sunday, June 5, 11 am - 5 pm
The Kenan Center puts on a wonderful show every year, gathering the 100 finest craftspeople. This is an indoor show; you'll find local wines, great gardens, live music, and more on the grounds. I will have only my weaving at the Kenan Center.

Roycroft Summer Festival
Roycroft Campus, East Aurora, NY

Chautauqua Crafts Alliance
Chautauqua Institute, Chautauqua, NY

Elmwood Avenue Festival of the Arts
Buffalo, NY

I love returning to Buffalo, the city where I spent most of my childhood. Buffalo is home to a great art scene, and area residents and visitors come out in large numbers for this grat show. I'll be there with my weaving only this year. Visit their website for more details. |
Clothesline Festival
Rochester, NY

On the grounds of the Rochester Memorial Art Gallery, the 55th annual Clothesline Festival showcases the region's finest artists and crafters. You'll find me there with my weaving. Their website has all the details you need. |
| Letchworth Arts & Crafts Festival
Letchworth State Park, NY
Saturday & Sunday, October 8 & 9, 10 am - 5 pm
Monday, October 10, 10 am - 4 pm
Large crowds always turn out for this show, regardless of the weather on Columbus Day. Stop by my booth (not far from the pool house) to see my jewelry and weaving, then take some great fall photos of the park. The website has complete details. |
Allegany Artisans Studio Tour
Saturday & Sunday, October 15-16, 10 am - 5 pm
This will be my second year participating in the Artisans tour. You can see both my jewelry and my weaving here, and if it's not too busy, weave yourself a mug rug while you're here. Enjoy holiday yummies while you browse.
Be sure to pay attention to the Artisans map or call me for directions - you don't want to get onto the other end of Pangburn Road! |
