Handwoven Scarves - Bamboo Cotton
Desert Locust
The muted yellow ochre and olive in these bamboo cotton blend handwoven scarves reminds me of the arid desert landscape. But there's nothing reminiscent of scratchy sand in their softness when you wrap them around your neck. Instead, these scarves are soft and supple, providing a wonderful drape. The earth tones in this interesting color blend coordinate with a broad range of other neutrals, and will look great with both your casual and professional clothes.
This scarf is finished with a simple knotted fringe that shows off the multi-colored weft and provides a classic look.
These bamboo cotton handwoven scarves are 5-1/2" wide and 42" long, plus 3" of knotted fringe. You can choose from two different weaves in this color blend - plain weave shown on the left or twill shown on the right - each has their own beauty. A bit shorter than most of my scarves, it's still long enough for both beauty and grace.
Whether you choose plain weave or twill, this hand painted yarn has a checked look with slightly varying colors throughout.
Your scarf is best washed by hand in cold water and laid flat to dry.
