Handwoven Scarves Rayon Chenille
Surreal The rich blues, purples, and navy of gemtone colors always call to me. I am drawn to the depth of the colors, and when the beautiful sheen and luxury of rayon chenille is added to the mix, it's a never-fail combination. The rayon chenille in these scarves is all hand painted by a fiber artist. Each scarf has a thin stripe of purple along one edge, with the majority of the scarf a variegated blend of bright blue, purple, and navy. The handwoven scarf at the top has a solid purple weft, bringing out the amethyst in the variegation. At the bottom, the rayon chenille is crossed with a bright blue weft, and creates the scarf that calls out the sapphire in the variegation. At left, the scarf was woven with the same variegated yarn for both warp and weft, resulting in a plaid design. These plush rayon chenille scarves will keep you warm wrapped around your neck in the winter whether you're inside or out. These handwoven scarves will also bring you lots of admiring looks and compliments. NEW COLOR THIS SEASON These luxurious, gemtone rayon chenille handwoven scarves are 7 1/2" wide and 72" long, plus double-twisted fringe, (all measurements approximate). Wear it long, wrapped around your neck several times, in a keyhole, or in any other style. Choose the color combination you like best or let me select for you. For best results, please hand wash and dry flat. Fluff in a dryer if desired. |
