Handwoven Scarves - Egyptian Cotton
Ocean Waves Close your eyes and picture yourself on a pristene beach. White sands, blue waters, gentle breezes. And maybe a tropical drink by your side as you lounge near the surf. These gorgeous Egyptian cotton scarves will call these images to mind every time you drape them around your neck. It doesn't matter whether you wear one of these scarves over a black tank top or a white evening gown, you'll draw lots of admiring looks while you show your fashion sense. Handwoven from fine gauge threads, these scarves are very lightweight - hold them up and you can see the light pass through them. This makes them drape really well. These hand made scarves were woven from hand painted yarns, beautifully dyed by my favorite fiber artist. The scarf on the left is a tabby weave, plain enough to show the gorgeous blues of the yarns. I wove the one on the right in a twill pattern, reminiscent of the waves of the ocean itself. Pick the one you prefer or let me choose for you. These Egyptian cotton scarves are 8" wide and range from 62-66" long, plus 4" of fringe on the ends. Wrap these fashionable scarves in any way you choose. My preference is to hand launder all my scarves, but you may use gentle cycles on machines on these Egyptian cotton scarves, or dry clean them, if you prefer. |
