These three scarves work a little bit of weaving magic - the two sides are opposite in appearance. On one side of the scarf you'll see dark blocks with a light border; flip it over and you'll have light blocks with a dark border!
Handmade from bamboo yarn, these soft and silky scarves drape beautifully. The dark colors provide neutral interest, and the red gives you a pop of color. It needs little water, and is naturally pest-resistant. It can be harvested in just a few years, and is completely renewable and sustainable, with its root system continually sprouting new shoots so there's no need for replanting, making it very environmentally friendly. Bamboo is highly anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, hypo-allergenic, and anti-static, even after several washings. It is very breathable, much like silk or cashmere, but it is much more affordable and versatile. Bamboo can be washed and dried by machine, although I prefer hand washing these handwoven scarves and drying them flat. Bamboo is wrinkle-resistant, but you can use a gentle iron if needed. Some of these scarves were woven using hand painted yarn, ensuring that your scarf was given individual care and personal attention in every detail of its creation. You can also be sure that your purchase will be unique, displaying your personal style. Just as the waves in the ocean gracefully ebb and flow, so does the undulating twill weaving pattern in these handwoven scarves.
All three scarves feature the same stunning hand painted blue-green bamboo yarn. Each is crossed with a different yarn, providing three variations on a watery theme. On the left, a dark, royal purple rayon provides the a peek into the ocean's deepest secrets.
