Handwoven Scarves Bamboo Cotton
New York I just love purple, whether its in yarns or the beauty of amethyst gemstones. The depth of this royal color brings richness to every fashion. Although each of these hand made scarves looks somewhat different, they were all woven on the same warp. On the left, a solid light purple weft was used, providing a striped look of medium shades. In the center, I used the same yarn for warp and weft, resulting in a regular checked pattern. The scarf on the right was again woven with a solid weft, this time in a deep purple for a much darker striped appearance. Choose the one that will look best with your outfits, or let me pick for you. All of the yarns I use were hand painted right here in the U.S.A. and then woven in New York State.
