Handwoven Scarves Bamboo Cotton Moccasin There's nothing like earthtones. They are neutrals that look good with almost any other colors. They are an asset to most skin tones. They mimic the colors of trees and earth, birds and butterflies. These handwoven scarves are made from those wonderful earthtones. Although the three look quite different, they share the same hand painted warp, a lovely variegated bamboo cotton yarn in sepia, rust, chestnut, mocha, and more. The scarf at the left was woven with a 100% bamboo weft of solid coral weft in a diamond twill pattern. The resulting effect is almost like tapestry. It also makes this scarf 85% bamboo and 15% cotton, making it particularly lightweight and flexible. In the middle is a handwoven scarf with the same variegated bamboo cotton yarn used for both warp and weft. If you look closely, you can see that it has the same diamond twill pattern as its neighbor, but the weave effect is much more subtle here. This scarf is 2/3 bamboo and 1/3 cotton. On the right is a scarf that was woven with a solid mocha weft, creating a scarf that has an overall lighter colors with stripes along its length. Like the middle one, this handwoven scarf is made from a blend of 2/3 bamboo and 1/3 cotton. Choose the variation you prefer, or let me select for you. NEW COLOR THIS SEASON Each of these bamboo cotton scarves is 7" wide and 72" long, plus fringe. You'll have plenty of wrapping options to show your fashion sense. I recommend hand laundering all my handwovens. You can fluff these in the dryer if you'd like. |
