Handwoven Scarves - Colorgrown Organic Cotton Checks Originally from South America, the organic cotton in these scarves was grown in the USA. It was later processed and spun in the USA, and finally handwoven in New York State, making this a truly American product. From khaki to buffalo, olive to oatmeal, the beauty of the four naturally-occurring hues in this colorgrown organic cotton must be seen to be appreciated. It may take several washings for the full depth of color to emerge in this scarf. Hot water will hasten the process, although it may also result in some shrinkage. This organic cotton handwoven scarf is 6 1/2" wide and 47" long, plus 2 1/2" of hand knotted fringe. Choose squares of herringbone weave (top) or larger blocks of plain weave (bottom); either way you'll be both eco-friendly and stylish. Wear it in a single drape around your neck, or wrap it when the weather gets chilly. A bit thicker and warmer than some of my scarves, you can proudly display this eco-wear all year round. Feel free to machine wash and dry your organic cotton scarf. |
